Terms of Service

The short version: be honest, be kind, only post what you have the right to post. Listing is free. Paid spots are clearly labeled ads — they buy visibility, not rankings. The Hero spot is an auction: if you're outbid, that bid isn't refunded. If you lose a race while paying, you get your money back automatically.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Rorocode ("SaaSlick", "we") for using saaslick.com. By using SaaSlick you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use SaaSlick for a company, you confirm you can bind it.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You sign in with Google or GitHub and are responsible for activity on your account.
  • One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone or create accounts to manipulate follows, upvotes or stats.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post (product info, logos, updates, discussions). You give SaaSlick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and share it (for example in previews, social cards and our own promotion of SaaSlick) for as long as it's on SaaSlick. You confirm you have the rights to what you post, including logos and screenshots.

Honesty rule: metrics you post are shown as "Founder-reported". Don't post numbers you know are false, fake testimonials, or claims that mislead people.

4. Community rules

Don't:

  • spam, mass-promote, or post cold sales pitches in discussions;
  • post scams, phishing, malware, or links to them;
  • harass, threaten, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
  • list products that are illegal or that you don't have the right to list;
  • scrape SaaSlick, bypass rate limits, or interfere with the service;
  • try to inflate impressions, clicks, follows or upvotes (including your own or a competitor's placements).

Investment threads: SaaSlick doesn't verify investors, founders or offers and isn't a broker, adviser or fundraising platform. Nothing on SaaSlick is financial advice. Do your own diligence.

5. Moderation

We can hide content, lock discussions, remove listings and suspend accounts that break these terms or put users at risk, with or without notice. You can report anything with the ⚑ Report button. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@saaslick.com.

6. Listings we add

We may list products using public information to help builders get discovered. Builders can claim, edit or ask us to remove these listings at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

7. Paid placements

7.1 What you're buying

Paid placements ("Hero" and "Featured #1–#5") are advertising. They're always labeled as sponsored and never change organic lists, search results or any ranking. We don't guarantee any number of impressions, clicks, signups or sales. We show you the impressions and clicks we measured.

7.2 Hero spot (auction)

  • The Hero shows one product. The highest valid bid holds it until someone places a higher valid bid.
  • A new bid must be at least the current bid plus the minimum increment shown on /advertise.
  • When you're outbid, your placement ends and that bid is not refunded — you paid for the time you held the spot, however long or short.
  • If someone else wins while you're still in checkout, your payment is refunded in full automatically.

7.3 Featured slots (weekly)

  • A week runs Monday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC. Booking the current week is prorated by days left.
  • First come, first served. Choosing a slot holds it for a short time while you pay; unpaid holds expire.
  • If your hold expired and someone else booked the slot before your payment completed, you're refunded in full automatically.
  • Featured bookings are non-refundable once the week has started, except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
  • You may cancel a future week by emailing us at least 48 hours before it starts for a full refund.

7.4 Removal

If your product breaks these terms, we can remove its placement without refund. If we remove a placement by mistake or for reasons not caused by you, we refund the unused portion.

7.5 Payments

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which handles billing, invoices and applicable taxes. Prices are in USD. Polar's terms also apply to your purchase. Chargebacks on valid placements may lead to account suspension.

8. SaaSlick's stuff

The SaaSlick name, 🔥 mark, design and code belong to Rorocode. Don't copy them or imply we endorse you.

9. Disclaimers

SaaSlick is provided "as is". Products listed are built by their builders, not by us — we don't vet, endorse or guarantee them. Use third-party products and links at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SaaSlick isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

11. Ending things

You can delete your account anytime from your dashboard. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (licenses for content already shared, disclaimers, liability) survive.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing anything, email us — most issues get solved fast. If you're a consumer, you may also have the right to bring claims in your own country.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. For meaningful changes we'll update the date above and notify signed-in users before they take effect.
